Degassing is carried out to remove hydrogen gas from the molten metal. If not removed, hydrogen gas will cause product defects (blisters etc.) in aluminum. JMC can provide Si3N4 pipes with any of three types (SiC, C, Si3N4) of porous “tip components” that offer superior corrosion resistance. There are three common “bubbling pipe” shapes available: straight, 90-degree bend, and 120-degree bend.
